About The Party

The Gurmad Party is a political party made of citizen members of the Republic of Somalia with no allegiance, affiliation, or external influence. It was founded on the principles of peace, unity, and freedom for citizens of Somalia. Gurmad firmly believes in international relations based on the principles of respect for national sovereignty, respect for international law, and the principles articulated in the United Nations Charter

Gurmad Party believes in:

The Gurmad Party will priories emphasize and implement the following five pillars and manifest to change the course for Somalia during its first term in office.

Preamble

We, the founding members of the Gurmad Political Party believe:

  1. Rule of Law, whereby on-violence and peaceful approach are utilized of all for domestic, regional, and international disputes to save guild line life and human dignity.
  2. We believe in and support human rights by empowering our citizens to play an active role both in social and political transformation and decisions that would impact our and the future generations
  3. Somalia must work towards economic and social sustainability through agriculture farming, livestock, research, and trade. Donor dependency will not sustain the Somali economy and has not sustained in the past.
