Gurmad let Government will identify challenges and obstacles to sustainable governance and peace building in a shared vision and long lasting solutions for state and peace building for Somalia. Gurmad envisions a sovereign Somalia with secure borders and in harmony with its neighbors. Gurmad sets an agenda for visionary leadership that makes the best of the available diplomatic support and resources in order to put Somalia on the path of stability as a dignified sovereign state.

Gurmad party believes in genuine national unity. Our party will recognize the critical importance of establishing an independent reconciliation commission made of Somali peacemakers, including women and marginalize communities from all sectors of the society and clans.

Gurmad led Government, transparency and good governance will be of high priority in government sectors. Somalia is often associated with corruption which undermines basic social values and principles. Such labeling has significant implication for the people of Somalia. It will further impact the rule of law, governance and trust in political institutions both at the national and international level.

Gurmad led government will fight against corruption, cohesion, manipulation and discrimination in the security and justice sector at the every level. Gurmad led Government will set a higher standard in formulating policies, legal frameworks and accountability mechanisms to uphold integrity, transparency and rule of law to ensure the principles of human rights. Respect and dignity is applied in the Security and Justice sector to better serve the people of Somalia
